We've tried to cover as may of the basics in owning a bird as possible - see the guides on the left - together with some comprehensive details on what you can expect from the variety you may be looking at - be it a parrot, (this link is for the African Grey, we've also done a piece on Conures), budgie, cockatiel or cockatoo.
